Finally, after tons of hard work and a rush for the finishing line I can sumbmit this to the "between the lines" contest for the LOTR club. Go here to vote :[link]
My biggest thanks go out to my girlfriend :iconmalkbass: who gave me the inspiration, kept me focused, blocked out most of the flat colors and occasionally cracked the whip on me.
I just hope that everyone will get the joke and can apreciate (is that written right?) it.

This drawing is simply brilliant! I perfectly agree with Ulmo, lets give the ring to the only vala actually willing to make something out of it! Moreover your representation of Manwe is perfect and, for a second, I sympathized with Aule cowering behind the throne. Great work!

That's great! Love their expressions, especially Yavanna's. Ulmo's design is really cool, with all the shells incorporated into it.

Thank you very much! With his description of being clad in mail from silver to green I thought he wouldn't look maritime enough so I thought: "Crown of shells- AWESEOME! Trident...nah stereotype. Trident made out of shells - AWESOME!"
